Spot on. Your comment about the American approach is instructive. The fact of the matter is we don't have laws such as that on the books because until 5 minutes ago we didn't need to. Same same with banning cousin marriage, banning face coverings, Martyn's Law (which I fell very foul of at a gig last year) etc. All because our 'elites' imported these problems against our will.
You say we are not yet the DDR . But our direction of travel is crystal clear - the police is now largely a dissent control force , not Peeler “citizens in uniform” any more .
Islam ( instead of communism ) is the preferred regime , in the courts and by the police , by the government and the media . The Muslim Brotherhood has quietly taken over the Labour Party ( as there would be no Labour government without the muslim vote ) .
This strongly suggests that the British version of democracy is now no longer operating as intended . Fraudulent voting practices plus deferred elections suggest that totalitarianism is not that far away , thanks to the secretive Fabian Society and the discreet Muslim Brotherhood. DDR ; here we come .
A powerful and timely reflection on 'the process is the punishment', and the chilling of free speech in today's Britain. As Christians, we are doubtless more sensitive to these issues, but I cannot help thinking "First, they silenced the Christians..."
I am reminded that in middle school I was one of only three kids who were willing to be openly Christian, since even in the early 1980s there was considerable animosity towards the many ways of being Christian, at least in the south of England (I cannot speak for elsewhere). I was eventually overtaken by this hostility in University, but found my way back down the long road.
I'll be including this in the next Bazaar, which should run in a few weeks.
Well said. However ,was it not Sir Robert Peel who started the British Police Force ( hence the nickname "Bobbies "?).I agree with everything else you said.
I saw the video of this it was disgusting. The one I watched however made me smile as that policeman on the left he kept referring to as a burly copper 🤣
He's certainly not my cup of tea but are you implying that we should not defend his, chancer be he may, rights and permit what looks like it may be an unlawful arrest by those entrusted to police us?
And what of Hatun Tash? Is she also 'a chancer'?
I'm keen to understand whom you think should be entitled to protection under law and whom you think should not be.
Outstanding analysis! This ought to be distributed widely. The conclusions are especially powerful.
Thanks.

I totally agree but please don’t call them ‘elites’. Parasites is a much more accurate description!

Beautifully described and explained. Thank you.
Dear C.J.,
A powerful and timely reflection on 'the process is the punishment', and the chilling of free speech in today's Britain. As Christians, we are doubtless more sensitive to these issues, but I cannot help thinking "First, they silenced the Christians..."

Stay wonderful!
Chris.
A incisive and sobering reflection. Thank you.
Well said. However ,was it not Sir Robert Peel who started the British Police Force ( hence the nickname "Bobbies "?).I agree with everything else you said.
Lol.. of course.. Freudian slip!
🤣
I saw the video of this it was disgusting. The one I watched however made me smile as that policeman on the left he kept referring to as a burly copper 🤣
yet the mudpeople can go ass up in the middle of the road and that's ok......
The POLICE are simply a DISGRACE. They make an UNLAWFUL arrest of a peaceful christian preacher, yet NEVER ARREST LOUD VIOLENT MUSLIMS!! COWARDS.
Jay Smith sent me here. God be praised. 🙏
It took me 5 minutes to discover that this bloke is a chancer.
Process is the punishment is real and important. Don’t hang it on this nut job.
Would you care to elaborate?
He's certainly not my cup of tea but are you implying that we should not defend his, chancer be he may, rights and permit what looks like it may be an unlawful arrest by those entrusted to police us?

Like I said. The process as punishment is real.
Let’s leave it at that.
